so lovely to have you here,
I'm Nikki !
Movement has always been a passion of my life. Before yoga, I was an athlete, always drawn to the challenge of moving, training, and seeing what the body is capable of, and what happens when we ask it to do more.

My interest in the human body and it’s innate wisdom to heal dates back way before I even could say the word “Kinesiology”. As a child, I was fascinated with how a cut on your body can heal and grow new skin, and how my body can not only recover from tough training sessions on the ice, but for that discomfort to carry me to the gold medals in competition. This started my journey to learn the body in the way of biomechanics, exercise physiology, injury prevention, and recovery. What an intriguing unit we have to physically carry us through this life, am I right ?!

Yoga took it another leap further.

Over the years, since taking my first yoga class in 2013, my understanding of movement & the human body began to expand. I started to see the body not only as something that can be physically trained, but rather as something we could learn to listen to & cultivate stronger communication with. Yoga introduced the quieter, softer side of the body - breath, awareness, stillness - and the relationship between how we move & how we feel. To feel the rhythm of your breath & create a sense of safety within.

Life is one big game of polarity. Sunrise - Sunset, External - Internal, Strength - Softness, Movement - Recovery, Structure - Adaptability, Yang - Yin. I believe the true way to healing is through finding harmony & balance among all aspects of life.

I like to absorb this mentality when approaching exercise and the physical body. Considering we are cyclical in nature, along with the modern day lives we live, I believe the there is not one "right way" to train, but rather creating the right way for you. Whether you’re working towards a performance goal, navigating recovery, or simply wanting to feel more connected to your body, I’m here to help build wellness that is intentional, sustainable & uniquely yours.
Rooted In Science. Inspired by Nature.
With my foundation rooted in Kinesiology - the study of human movement & exercise - alongside years of yoga teaching and self practice, I bring these practices together thoughtfully, respecting the difference between movement practice & clinical care, and collaborating with other professionals within a multi-disciplinary team as needed. My work continues to evolve through ongoing education in movement, breathwork, somatic practices, nervous system regulation, and other approaches to traditional wellbeing.

At the end of the day, I’m still the girl who loves a friendly competition, to be barefoot outside, lifting heavy things, laughing when I fall, and continuously raising the bar to be the best version of myself and those around me. You’ll find me lost in the waves somewhere, or enjoying a quiet morning in the mountains, reminding you that life is meant to be experienced, not perfected!
Namaste: the light within me shines to the light within you
